What is Remote Therapeutic Monitoring?
Remote Therapeutic Monitoring allows eligible providers to monitor non-physiological information related to a patient’s therapy and treatment between appointments. Patient information may be collected through a connected medical device or reported by the patient, depending on the program. Providers can use this information to evaluate progress, communicate with patients and make informed adjustments to the treatment plan.
Unlike Remote Patient Monitoring, which typically tracks physiological measurements such as blood pressure, weight or blood glucose, RTM can capture information about:
